CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – More expansive healthcare services have opened to Kapampangans with the formal signing of a memorandum of agreement between the Pampanga Provincial Hospital-Clark (PPH-Clark) and health maintenance organizations Intellicare and Avega at the Capitol here on Oct. 19.

Signatories to the MOA were Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda for PPH-Clark and Intellicare chief medical director Dr. Gerardo Jiao.

Under the agreement, qualified Intellicare and Avega members can avail themselves of the services of PPH-Clark based on their HMO coverage and the specific services mandated in the MOA.

“Malaking bagay ang may HMO sa isang indibidwal who is working na may family na three or four. This ensures their medical insurance, safety and convenience,” said Dr. Jiao, underscoring the importance of the partnership with the provincial government.

The PPH-Clark is a Level II hospital of the Provincial Government of Pampanga ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Pampanga located inside the Clark Freeport.
