ANGELES CITY – City Mayor and Abe Kapampangan Partylist first nominee Edgardo Pamintuan today led thousands of Angeleños in welcoming former Philippine National Police Chief and Senatorial candidate Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa and vowed to vigorously campaign for latter.
“Sagot Kita! Itaga mo sa Bato!,” Pamintuan declared during the program held Thursday at New Legislative Building, Angeles City Hall.
Joining Pamintuan in welcoming the former PNP Chief were ABEKA Partylist second nominee Jericho Aguas and fifth nominee Patrick Cura as well the official candidates of the local political party, Partido Abe Kapampangan (PAK), for Mayor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno, for Vice Mayor Edu Pamintuan, for Councilor JC Aguas, Jay Pelayo IV, Dan Lacson, Raco Del Rosario, Alfie Bonifacio, Alma Mercado, Chris Cortez, Amos Rivera, Thelma Indiongco, and Joseph PG Ponce.
Dela Rosa expressed his thanks to Pamintuan for his all-out support and promised to support the development of Angeles City if elected to the Senate.
He declared to the people City of Angeles, “Sagot ko kayo! Itaga nyo sa Bato!” This was met by a standing ovation by the jampack crowd inside the session hall of the Sangguniang Panglungsod of Angeles.
Dela Rosa is in the top 12 among senatorial candidates in the latest surveys conducted by both the Social Weather Stations and Pulse Asia.
