TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Tarlac provided training on basic photography for local manufacturers in Victoria town.

About 17 entrepreneurs attended the training which focuses on social marketing and product development.

DTI OIC-Provincial Director Zaida Garibay emphasized that the training aims to improve the skills of entrepreneurs in marketing their products through photos with good angle, lighting and composition.

“The activity aims to improve the marketability of the products of local manufacturers by enhancing their packaging labels. Another is for them to level up their use of social media marketing by learning the techniques of taking eye-catching photos using their mobile phone cameras,” Garibay said.

Senior Designer of the Local Designers Program of DTI Tarlac and Provincial Government of Tarlac Jerriko Cabalo talked about photography techniques, and conducted one-on-one product development consultation with the participants.

DTI Tarlac recently held the same activity for students, would-be entrepreneurs, and existing business owners at Magic Star Mall in Tarlac City. (CLJD/TJBM-PIA 3)
