BALANGA CITY (PIA) — A total of 21 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Bataan are showcasing their products at the Likha ng Bataeño National Trade Fair, organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) from May 20 to 25 at the Vista Mall Event Center in Taguig City.
DTI Bataan Provincial Director Eileen Ocampo emphasized the importance of giving Bataeño MSMEs a national platform to highlight the province’s creative and high-quality products.
“By bringing Likha ng Bataeño to Metro Manila, we are opening more doors for our micro entrepreneurs to access wider markets, connect with new institutional buyers, and proudly represent Bataan’s craftsmanship and innovation,” she said.
Ocampo noted that DTI is organizing the event in partnership with Vista Mall Taguig and with support from the Bataan Provincial Government through the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office.
“This is also a post-Mother’s Day celebration. You can buy something here for your mom as well. We invite everyone to support our MSMEs, buy local, discover new favorites, and celebrate Galing Bataan,” she added.
Visitors can explore a wide range of products, including dried and smoked fish, cashew nuts and butter, buko pie and fresh buko juice, araro cookies, crab pastes, spicy dilis and pusit, roasted peanuts and cornicks, handcrafted bags, home décor and accessories, souvenir items, and ornamental plants, among others.
