BALANGA CITY (PIA) — In a joint move to enhance wildlife rescue operations, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has partnered with Zoobic Safari Corporation to install specialized temporary shelters within the DENR community office compound in Bagac, Bataan.
The initiative addresses the urgent need for proper temporary holding areas for rescued wildlife, following an increase in animal turnovers from concerned citizens, organizations, and government partners.

The newly installed enclosures provide a safe and secure environment for rescued animals while ensuring strict compliance with established wildlife handling protocols.
DENR Regional Executive Director Ralph Pablo expressed his gratitude to Zoobic Safari Corporation for supporting wildlife conservation efforts in Central Luzon.
He emphasized the vital role of partnerships between the government and the private sector in protecting biodiversity.
“Through this collaboration, the DENR community office in Bagac has become more capable as a receiving center and temporary sanctuary for rescued fauna,” Pablo said.
The DENR continues to urge the public to report wildlife sightings and illegal activities that threaten biodiversity, as part of its broader mission to preserve the region’s rich natural heritage. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Bataan)
