ANGELES CITY – A new hangout opened here recently.
Giving modified container vans an industrial garage setup, DBar Resto and Grill offers live band entertainment, hard booze from beers to cocktails and towers, and Pinoy food to match, from sizzling caldereta, spicy tokwa’t baboy, to sisig, and off-the-grills.
DBar is owned by 12 barkadas Mark Anthony Ong, Vickee dela Cruz, Evian Lazatin, Paul Andrew Cabrera, Alberto Naval Jr, Juan Felicito Bautista, Ryan Cunanan, Mico Balingit, Dr. Errol Lacson, Nani Nilo, and Paul Senapilo.
According to Evian, DBar sprung amid the pandemic to be a go-to place for friends looking for a spot to hang out and chill. Evian said they wanted to share their group’s laidback vibe and rustic comfort with a beer in-hand and great music to everyone.
“Actually ikaming mibabarkada, DBar stands for “dabarkads” kasi mig-start ini keng friendship mi. Atin na kaming kanya-kanyang negosyo kaya ustung pamiyabe, buri mi atin kaming lugal uling mahilig kaming mamangan, lulwal, aisip mi ot ali namu manalakad sariling bar,” she said.
