Cristine Reyes is back in circulation after giving birth to her baby girl last February.

So how is it to be a mom now?

“Masyado ko siyang ine-enjoy,” she says. “Dalawa kami ng father niya (Ali Kathibi) in taking good care of our baby, si Amarah. Hati kami sa time in giving her a bath, feeding her and putting her to sleep. Now that she’s six months old, mas nakakatuwa na siya kasi mas marami nang mga ginagawa niya. I never thought that being a mother is one of the happiest things that will happen to me.”

But now that Amarah is bigger, she’s ready to get back to work in a new Kapamilya teleserye, “Tubig at Langis”, which is said to be not a remake of the 1980 movie of the late Danny Zialcita starring Vilma Santos, Amy Austria and the late Dindo Fernando, which original title is “Langis at Tubig”. It’s still a love triangle about infidelity but this time, the leading man is Zanjoe Marudo. We don’t know yet who will be the third wheel that will be Cristine’s rival over him and we don’t know if they’d use the original theme song that Sharon Cuneta turned into a megahit then.

Cristine said she made sure she prepared well before facing the cameras once again.

“My last teleserye was ‘Honesto’ two years ago pa,” she says. “When I was told na may bago akong project, I made sure na bumalik muna ako sa dating porma ng katawan ko. I trained in mixed martial arts with Ali. Ayoko namang malait ako kung sa pagharap ko uli sa kamera at sabihin ng mga tao na mukha na pala talaga akong nanay.
