CIAC conducts antibodies rapid tests for employees

The Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) conducted a rapid testing of its 113 staff on June 4 prior to the implementation of the agency’s Return-to-Work order of its skeletal force this month.

CIAC President and CEO Aaron Aquino, through Senior Executive Assistant IC Calaguas (in photo with black shirt), ordered the testing as part of the agency’s compliance in ensuring a CoViD-19-free workplace.

CIAC sought the assistance of the local government unit of Angeles City in the conduct of the tests.

During the extraction of blood samples for the tests, medical technologist Paul Bryan Simbulan from the Angeles City Health Office was assisted by CIAC personnel department staff. Results are expected within 24 hours.

Work at CIAC was modified to a work-at-home arrangement since March 17 following the imposition of the Enhanced Community Quarantine by President Duterte in the entirety of Luzon to arrest the spread of the pandemic.
