CLARK FREEPORT— The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has once again named the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) as the Affiliated Reserve Unit of the Year during the celebration of the 42nd National Reservist Week CY 2021 held recently.

CDC Assistant Vice President for Trade Facilitation Division Atty. Noelle Mina D. Meneses, who is also the group commander of the 2320th reservist group, received the recognition during the celebration.

The plaque of Merit signed by AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Jose C. Faustino Jr. was presented to Meneses at the Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City where the awarding was held.

This year’s theme for the National Reservist Week is “Laang Kawal: Sulong Tungo sa Matatag na Sandatahang Lakas, Katuwang sa Seguridad at Pag-unlad ng Bansa.”

The event was followed by a culmination activity attended by Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Aguilar Villar.

In September last year, CDC received the same recognition as the “AFP Affiliated Reserve Unit of the Year”. It was also recently hailed as the “Philippine Air Force (PAF) Affiliated Group Reserve for the Year” in June 2021.

Some 200 CDC employees are members of the 2320th reservist group who have also completed their Military Orientation Training (MOT) here.
