Bulacan DTI awarded for consumer protection

    CLARK FREEPORT – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) bestowed the 2015 Heroic Award in the outstanding government services category to the Consumer Protection Division (CPD) of its provincial office in Bulacan.

    “We were recognized for our courageous and decisive action in being true to our mandate of upholding the rights of consumers to safety protection against illegal hazard-prone products,” said Bulacan DTI chief Zorina Aldana.

    She received the award during the recent DTI System on Performance, Rewards and Incentives held at Philippine International Convention Center.

    The Bulacan CPD “exemplifi ed the nine DTI core values, namely professionalism, integrity, conscientiousness, continuous learning and growth, teammanship, resourcefulness, creativity, loyalty, and service orientation,” the award said.

    The Bulacan CPD “fulfi lled its mandate in ensuring quality fi reworks products during last year’s holiday season,” Aldana said.
