In a world of same-same cafés, Boris Café in Telabastagan is switching things up—with legit coffee, yummy pastries, and a whole mini golf course to vibe with.
Cofounded by Iñigo Santos and Joy Bautista, this is Pampanga’s first café where you can sip your latte and sink a putt, all in one go.
Iñigo, a third-generation owner of the beloved LA Bakeshop, brings with him a legacy of indulgent breads and pastries—many of which are proudly featured at Boris.
“In support of our bakeshop business, you can purchase some of our baked goodies here,” he shared.
The connection doesn’t stop there: their Boris Signature Latte is delicately sprinkled with notes of the iconic LA Cheese Bread, creating a cup that’s nostalgic yet novel.
Add to that a playful drink menu with bold matcha creations, some fused with strawberry and mango and you’ve got a lineup that’s as flavorful as the café’s concept.
The café’s name? A tribute to Boris, their grandmother’s clingy cat who took a special liking to Joy during her visits to Iñigo—a charming origin story that matches the warm energy of the place.
While Iñigo leads operations, Joy steers sales and finance, both working toward one shared vision: “We want to build a community for Boris Café,” said Bautista.
The café’s standout feature: an 8-hole mini golf course which is more than just an add-on. It’s a space that encourages accuracy, precision, and most importantly, fun.
The idea was born during the pandemic when Iñigo found solace in driving ranges, eventually deciding to blend that passion with his entrepreneurial spirit.
