BALANGA CITY — Bataan logged Monday record-high 453 new recoveries from the coronavirus disease that caused the total number of those who have recovered to rise to 20,443, Gov. Albert Garcia reported Tuesday.
The latest report also showed that those who were tested positive of Covid–19 climbed to 24,889 with 3,540 active cases after the listing of 141 new confirmed cases while deaths reached 906 with the addition of five new casualties.
Balanga City has the most number of new recoveries at 165, followed by Morong (141), Dinalupihan (63), Hermosa (25), Mariveles (25), Abucay (12), Bagac (10), Orani (4), Pilar (4), Orion (2), and Samal (2).
The new confirmed cases were from Balanga City – 49, Mariveles – 19, Morong – 16, Hermosa – 14, Dinalupihan – 13, Limay – 11, Pilar – 6, Abucay – 4, Orani – 4, Orion – 2, Samal – 2, and Bagac – 1.
Among the new fatalities were: 68-year-old male from Hermosa, 79-year-old female from Samal, 79-year-old male from Pilar , 76-year-old male from Dinalupihan and 63-year-old female from Limay.
