BALANGA City, Bataan: The Philippine Information Agency provincial office here reported Monday that 1,017 individuals of 309 families in Bataan have so far been affected by floods brought by cyclones Luis and Maymay and the enhanced southwest monsoon.
Residents shared that aside from habagat or southwest monsoon, high tide contributed to the flooding in some areas.
PIA’s Rick Quiambao said affected with 0.5 -3 feet high flooding are 48 barangays in the towns of Hermosa, Orion and Dinalupihan.
Of this number, 278 families of 923 individuals were evacuated. (30)
