ANGELES CITY – City councilor and former actress JC Parker-Aguas was crowned Noble Queen International in the recently concluded Noble Queen of the Universe 2021 held at San Diego, California.
With its mission to go beyond beauty, the Noble Queen Universe pageant promotes “respect for all,” with a heart to help and uplift the condition of communities across diverse societies, a pageant flier said.
Nominated by 2019 Noble Queen of the Universe Patricia Javier, Parker said she feels honored and grateful as the crown is a sign of her duties and responsibilities to her family and community.
“I got nominated by Patricia Javier because they saw I have been doing a lot for charity and the community and that’s the main quality of being a Noble Queen, to have a big heart,” said Parker. “Respect to every individual and how you will inspire and help others. That’s all that matters.”
Parker has been actively doing charity projects in this city as a councilor as well as her personal commitment to help different communities including the distribution of pregnancy kits, vitamins, and food for pregnant women, distribution of school supplies to students in partnership with different private sectors, feeding programs together with the LGBTQ+, and distribution of rice through the Aguas Bigas program.
Parker has also helped over 80 sari-sari store owners and conducted a medical circumcision project for 300 boys to date.
“The pageant is about women empowerment, to help women uplift each other in our society. We can make a big impact to have a better community,” shared Parker.
The Noble Queen of the Universe pageant was joined by 12 women across the world who vied for five major titles: Noble Queen of the Universe, Noble Queen International, Noble Queen Globe, Noble Queen Earth, and Noble Queen Tourism.
Parker also won the Best in Long Gown special award dressed in her wedding gown made by Kapampangan designer Jojo Macapinlac.
