Encased within a fan-shaped box adorned with oriental accents and prints, every mooncake has been meticulously handcrafted to symbolize the rich history of Chinese customs and traditions.

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, PAMPANGA – 31 July 2023 – Luzon’s top-rated Chinese restaurant, Wu Xing, invites guests to celebrate the Asian heritage of this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, an age-old Chinese tradition, focuses on familial unity and harmony. The roundness of mooncakes is meant to evoke an image of the full moon that symbolizes wholeness for family. Mooncakes are also given as gifts that are known to bring prosperity and good luck.

Wu Xing’s culinary team, led by Executive Chinese Chef Lucas Zhou, presents four exquisite mooncake flavors: Black Sesame, Lotus, Red Bean, and Lotus with Salted Egg Yolk. Limited edition sets are priced at Php 2,800 net for a box of two and Php 3,500 net for a box of four.
