ORANI, Bataan — Fifteen houses were destroyed while a father and his young
daughter died in a morning fire here amid a slight drizzle.
The Bureau of Fire Protection in Orani said of the 15 houses, 10 were totally razed
while five others were partially damaged in the fire that started at 9:26 in the
morning. The blaze was declared under control at 10:05 a.m. and fire-out at 10:36
of the same morning.
With the use of pails and small hoses, many residents were seen helping the
firemen from dousing water on the blaze.
Barangay chair Pepito Dionisio of Pacar, Orani said two residents trapped in their
house were rushed to the Orani District Hospital but latest report showed that
father and daughter were already dead.
Police identified the fatalities as Johnny Muyon, 56, and Janine Emerald Muyon,
20, of Barangay Pacar.
Neighboring firefighting units aside from Orani responded. Orani BFP said they
were still ascertaining the cause of the fire and the amount of damage it left.
