SAMAL, Bataan – Tricycle drivers in Bataan were thankful and welcomed Tuesday
the oil price rollback but asked that further oil price cuts be implemented.
The rollback is considered as the biggest so far this year but tricycle drivers
wanted more cuts so that their income, they said, will be back to normal.
“Salamat naman at bumaba ng kaunti at sana mas maganda bumalik sa dating
presyo. Mahirap kung mataas ang presyo, walang kinikita,” tricycle driver Gary
Buan of Barangay Sta. Lucia here, said.
Some oil companies like Petron implemented the oil price rollback effective 6 in
the morning while others beginning 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Present pump prices per liter in Petron gas stations are: for diesel – P82.90, Extra
advance gasoline – P79.40, and XCS gasoline – P80.98.
Previous prices per liter were P89 for diesel, P85 for Extra advance and P86.65 for
XCS or price decrease of P6.10, P5.60 and P5.70, respectively.
