TARLAC CITY — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) in Mabilog in Concepcion, Tarlac.

It is a program of DTI that allows for a wider reach of business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people and distributing livelihood kits in partnership with local government units.

DTI OIC-Provincial Director Zaida Garibay said this helps to boost the economy.

“The goal is to develop more entrepreneurs in this community. Having a lot of business establishments is a sign of economic progress,” she said.

Mabilog’s Barangay Development Council will continue to coordinate with DTI for possible assistance that could be given to them in terms of business development.

In his message, Punong Barangay Jose Valencia thanked DTI for the assistance received by his constituents.

“These kits are of great help to our kabarangays. With these additional investments, they will earn more profit and this will support their business growth,” he said.

This is the fourth village in the municipality to benefit from LSP-NSB. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
