SUBIC, Zambales — Joint operatives of the Subic police, 2nd provincial mobile force company, provincial drug enforcement unit, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zambales arrested two suspected drug peddlers during a sting operation in Barangay Calapandayan here on Thursday.
In his report to Zambales police director Col. Fitz A Macariola, Subic police chief Major Noel C. Sitjar identified the suspects as Chrismer Supilto Romero, 27, of Barangay Calapacuan, and Jeffrey Mawalil Ussam, 58, of Barangay Calapandayan both in Subic town.
Both suspects were nabbed after selling a sachet of shabu worth of P500 to a police poseur-buyer.
Recovered from suspects were seven transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 52.5 grams worth P357,000.
The suspects have been taken under the custody of Subic police as they face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
