BALANGA CITY — This province on Tuesday registered 41 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease with active infections continuously rising, reaching this time to 132 from 91 Monday.
Gov. Albert Garcia reported on Wednesday that with the addition of the new confirmed cases, the number of those who were tested positive of the virus rose to 29,645.
The new confirmed Covid-19 cases are from Balanga City – 13, Mariveles – 11, Dinalupihan – 7, Limay – 3, Orani – 2, Pilar – 2, Bagac – 1, Orion – 1, and Samal – 1.
With active cases are Balanga City (38), Mariveles (26), Limay (19), Dinalupihan (13), Orani (10), Samal (6), Pilar (6), Hermosa (4), Morong (3), Orion (3), Bagac (2), and Abucay (2).
Those who have recovered remained at 28,301 with no recorded new recoveries while the number of casualties stayed at 1,212.
Meanwhile, Bataan is still under Alert Level 2. “Sa kabila nito, pinaaalalahanan pa rin ang lahat na mag-ingat at patuloy na sundin ang mga dati ng nakalatag na safety and health protocols,” the governor said.
“Panawagan din natin maging ng mga health workers na patuloy na tangkilikin ang bakuna, kabilang na ang booster dose upang hindi na natin muling maranasang muling masagad ang kapasidad ng mga ospital,” Garcia added.
