IBA, Zambales — Two suspects in a rape case and one in carnapping were arrested by the police on Tuesday in separate operations against wanted persons in Zambales.
Zambales police OIC-director Col. Fitz A. Macariola said elements of the Castillejos police and provincial Intelligence unit of led by Major Gian Napoleon F. Baquiran arrested suspect Allan Zapata Bautista, 41, of Barangay San Isidro, Subic, and listed as most wanted person in the provincial level, by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maribel F. Mariano-Beltran of Regional Trial Court Branch 13, Iba Zambales for forcible abduction with rape.
In Subic, joint operatives of the town police headed by Major San Juan Felmar D. Aquino and Lt. Christopher John Pulgan of the provincial highway patrol team arrested Paulo Angeles Name, 27, of Sitio Baltao, Barangay Calapandayan, Subic, for violation of RA 6539, as amended, otherwise known as the Anti-Carnapping Act of 1972.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Elena A. Amigo-Amano of RTC Branch 282, Valenzuela City.
In San Marcelino, joint elements of the town police, provincial intelligence unit, 305th Regional Mobile Force Battalion and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, arrested suspect Ryan Baleleng Florita, 39, of Barangay Lucero, San Marcelino by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Presiding Judge Gemma Theresa B. Hilario-Lagronio of RTC Branch 12, Olongapo City, for rape, in violation of Section 5 (B) of RA 7610, with recommended bail of P200,000.
All the suspects are now locked up in jail.
