CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Sharing the joy of magical Christmas, the PinaANAri visual art exhibit by Ana Algabre-Hernandez runs at SM City Telabastagan’s Art in the Yard from October 21 to November 17.
The PinANAri visual art exhibit dubbed Magical: Season of Joy brings festive inspiration of hope and Yuletide reverie with the use of vivid color combinations, subject imagery, and thick brush strokes by Hernandez.
“I want to inspire people and bring hope and joy this Christmas amidst pandemic. That’s why I wanted to paint a Christmas theme because of the values. It brings us closer together, there is that joy,” said Hernandez.
“I want to share art to bring inspiration because through art, your mood also changes. That’s why I’m grateful to SM for having me display my art through this exhibit because that is the purpose of art for me, to bring it to the mainstream. Art should be for everybody, it brings it closer to people,” she added.
PinANAri is a representation of Hernandez’s creativity and artistic discipline. A poet, painter, book author, and art competition winner, Hernandez was also a cum laude graduate of AB Behavioral Science at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
Growing up with her father, a prolific sculptor and watercolorist, she fostered her passion for art at a young age. Her artworks have been exhibited in Korea, Turkey, and Philippines and some have been donated to libraries, multicultural houses, and museums.
The Magical: Season of Joy oil and acrylic on canvas paintings are also for sale. You may scan the QR code provided in each art piece for details.
