CABANATUAN CITY — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) completed two farm-to-market road (FMR) projects in Nueva Ecija.

The finished infrastructures in barangay Buted, Talugtug town and barangay Latap, Cuyapo town are expected to help in the development of local communities.

They were both completed by DPWH Nueva Ecija 1st District Engineering Office.

“The two road improvement projects amount to P21.63 million with a length of 2.2495 kilometers. These were implemented in coordination with Department of Agriculture,” OIC-District Engineer Armando Manabat disclosed.

“The completion of the two road projects will greatly reduce the burden of farmers in transporting their agricultural products,” he said.

“We believe that these projects will make a significant contribution in improving their lives due to the enhancement in accessibility and mobility in these areas,” the official added. (CLJD-PIA 3)
