OLONGAPO CITY— The Department of Trade and Industry-Zambales is celebrating MSME Month with a series of local trade fairs in different locations in this city and the rest of the province.
Twenty-two promising MSMEs are showcasing featured crafts and homemade products produced by local entrepreneurs from Olongapo City and Zambales.
The celebration of MSME with the theme: “Makabagong MSMEs, bagong Pag-asa Laban sa Pandemya“ aims to support business operations’ continuity and help MSMEs recover and promote their products in order to minimize the adverse impacts of the Covid-19 crisis.
DTI-Zambales, OIC director Enrique Tacbad, with MSMED Zambales chairman Benjamin Farin, SMEDC Olongapo auditor Ricardo Chua, division chief business development DTI Zambales Malou Arcega and SM Olongapo Central Building admin manager Cromwell Baza formally opened the five-day MSME Week Trade Fair at SM City Olongapo Central to run from July 7 to July 11 at the ground level of the mall.
