OLONGAPO CITY– Joint elements of the city police intelligence unit, Police Station 6, the Zambales Provincial Intelligence Team-Regional Intelligence Unit 3, city mobile force company and 70IB, PA led by city police intel unit OIC Maj. Joven John L Camarao arrested a former rebel wanted for murder.
A report to city police director Col. Jeric Villanueva identified the suspect as Danny Daner y Tiglao, 54, farmer and tribal kagawad and presently residing at Purok 4 Sitio Ibad, Barangay Aglao, San Marcelino, Zambales.
The report said that on July 8, about 9:45 p.m., along Ilo-Ilo Street, Barangay Barretto, the suspect was arrested by virtue of alias warrant of arrest issued on July 6, 2021 by Presiding Judge Richard A Paradeza of Regional Trial Court, Branch 72, Olongapo City in Criminal Case No. 265-2008 for the crime of murder without bail.
The report added suspect was a former rebel who surrendered voluntarily at the Olongapo City Police Office on October 6, 2020.
The suspect is now detained at Police Station 6 of the Olongapo City Police Office.
