ANGELES CITY – A drug sting crafted by composite elements of the field offices of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency led to the arrest of a bigtime drug pusher and the confiscation of a big bulk of shabu.
PDEA-Region 3 director Christian O. Frivaldo said arrested in the drug bust along MacArthur Highway, Barangay Balibago here Wednesday evening was Jayson Crisostomo y Jiongco, 27, a resident of Navotas City.
In his initial report submitted to PDEA Director General Wilkins M. Villanueva, Frivaldo disclosed that Crisostomo is involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Angeles City, Mabalacat City, and nearby towns in Pampanga and Tarlac.
Seized from Crisostomo were one resealable transparent plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu weighing some 500 grams with Dangerous Drug Board value of P3.4 million, one Samsung cellphone, one genuine P1,000 bill with serial number JW562613 used as buy bust money and five bundles of boodle money.
Violation of Section 5 (Sale of dangerous drugs) of Art II of RA 9165 will be filed against the suspect.
Participating in the sting operation were the Pampanga and Tarlac offices of PDEA-3, PDEA-Calabarzon and PDEA Region 1. With PDEA-PR
