CABANATUAN CITY – Four suspected peddlers of illegal drugs were arrested while over P200,000 worth of shabu were seized in separate stings in Nueva Ecija, police reported Thursday.
Nueva Ecija police director Col. Marvin Joe Saro identified the suspects as Charmagne Bernardez, 30, of Barangay Pio Del Pilar, Makati City; Federico Chan, 57, of Padre Crisostomo and Hajie Suño, 39, of Sanvitan East, both of this city; and Roland Gamboa, 37, Barangay Mangino, Gapan City.
Saro said Bernardez, who allegedly yielded 11 sachets of shabu with estimated value of P200,000, was collared in a buy–bust operation hatched by policemen from Santa Rosa police station led by acting chief Major Fortune Dianne Bernardo.
Chan and Sunio, meanwhile, were arrested by the operatives from Cabanatuan City police station led by chief Lt. Col. Barnard Danie Dasugo in an anti-drug sting in Barangay Dumasalang here, he said.
Police confiscated from Chan five sachets of shabu and four sachets from Sunjo who also yielded the P500 marked bill each. The local police did not provide the estimated worth of the haul.
In Gapan City, police chief Lt. Col.Criselda de Guzman led operatives in the arrest of Gamboa who reportedly yielded unspecified amount of drugs and the P500 marked bill in another buy–bust operation.
