FORT RAMON MAGSAYSAY, Palayan City – Health Sec. Francisco Duque III led officials from the national inter-agency task force and the military in sending off 230 Filipino repatriates who finished quarantine here Tuesday.
Along with Duque was National Action Plan Against Covid -19 chief implementer Carlito Galvez Jr and treatment czar Usec. Leopoldo Vega.
Dr. Nelson Dancel, director of the mega Drug Abuse Treatment Rehabilitation Center where the quarantine facility was situated, said the repatriates were the second batch of overseas Filipinos who finished quarantine here.
The initial batch consisted of 16 OFs who came home amid pandemic.
