ANGELES CITY — Online lifestyle magazine talk shows continue to explore the conventional format of modern TV by bringing casual conversations online focusing on the most trending topics and relatable issues in a wider, virtual market.
Taking the modern Kapampangan buzz, The Pretz and Jemi Show (TPJS) is an online TV magazine show hosted by well-acclaimed fashion designer and creator of Pidayit, Philip “Pretz” Torres and celebrity stylist Jemi Nicdao.
“It all started when Tita Pretz and I hosted a Facebook livestream at the House of Pidayit back when we were still under ECQ. Our casual kwentuhan on Facebook Live entertained our fellow Pampangueños and gained so much support that we decided to do it regularly,” said Jemi.
TPJS premiered its official episode on June 27 together with their special guests Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting and Councilor JC Parker-Aguas as they talked about the current situation of businesses and public transportation in this city including how the local and visiting communities should be adapting to the new normal brought about by Covid-19.
Being friends for more than a decade, Tita Pretz and Jemi are a perfect tandem as they share the same wit and interest to showcase what Pampanga has to offer by bringing fun and homelike vibe to Kapampangans here and all over the world.
According to Tita Pretz and Jemi, TPJS will focus on different Kapampangan personalities, arts and crafts, and the culture of Pampanga.
“We will be showcasing the best of Pampanga and eventually the rest of the world. You can expect only the best from fashion, arts, travel, celebrities, influential people in various fields of interest, and of course food – after all, we are the culinary capital of the Philippines,” Tita Pretz said.
“We will explore and discover places, and all else beautiful and wonderful bringing more positivity and best entertainment to our online audience from here and abroad,” Jemi added.
With over 1,000 subscribers since its premiere episode, TPJS has been receiving great support not only from Kapampangans but also from other Filipinos both here and abroad as it brings nostalgia and comfort capturing Pinoy audience worldwide.
TPJS will air its second episode about the new normal in hotels and spa tonight at 8 p.m.
