Stranded students given stress debriefing, food packs

Two hundred forty-five students stranded at the Central Luzon State University here due to the enhanced community quarantine were given stress debriefing and psychological first aid by the Nueva Ecija Inter-Agency Task Force Sunday.

Fr. Arnold Abelardo, NEIATF spokesperson, said the activity was in collaboration with the provincial social welfare and development office and his non-government organization Ako ang Saklay: Habag at Malasakit.

“The whole CLSU community expressed their gratitude to Gov. Aurelio Umali for his malasakit,” Abelardo said.

The students were bring taken care of by the CLSU since the ECQ was imposed last March.

Aside from food packs, the students were also given face masks and water.

To make them feel safe and cared for,” Abelardo said.
