GLAIZA DE CASTRO reveals where she plans to study music production: London.
Glaiza also dispelled rumors that she would transfer networks by emphasizing that she still has a contract with GMA-7.
“Nakakatawa kasi pag alam mo yung totoo at may mga ganung accusations or ganung pagiisip, as much as you want to defend yourself, gusto mo hintayin na lang ang araw na ma-prove na hindi totoo ang sinasabi nila.”
She recently performed at 19 East in Muntinlupa in a show featuring Magnus Haven, a 5-piece Filipino alternative rock band.
“Unang-una, I still have an existing contract with GMA. It would be rude to say and make a move na meron ka pang existing contract talaga. Antayin niyo na lang kung anong mangyayari. Hindi naman natin mako-control ‘yan kung anong gusto nilang sabihin o isipin.”
Did she talk to Ryza about possibly transferring to ABS-CBN?
In April 2018, Ryza left GMA-7 after 14 years to sign up with the Kapamilya Network.
Glaiza admitted, “Hindi. Kung meron kaming pinaguusapan, nagkukumustahan lang kami. Magkaibigan kasi kami. Hindi kami naguusap tungkol sa work, more on sa love life niya.”
Did she get offers to transfer to ABS-CBN or TV5 in the past?
“Wala sa isip ko ang pag-lipat. It would be rude of me to make a statement kasi meron ka pang trabaho sa network mo. Kung meron man akong iniisip na gusto kong gawin, yun yung i-pursue ang pag-aaral ko.”
When will she start studying music production?
“Iniisip ko baka next year pa. Dahil looking for options kasi pupunta ako ng London by end of September. May bibisitahin akong schools dun. May mga open days kasi na binigay sa akin. Iga-grab ko yung opportunity na yun para ma-scout ang school para makita ko kung okay ba ang feeling ko, makita ko yung studio at masagot nila ang mga tanong ko.”
Has she considered studying music production in the Philippines?
“Nag-try na ko. Actually, dapat papasok na ko sa La Salle. I went through the process, entrance exam, interview, pero hindi nila ina-allow na magabsent ng marami. Erratic ang schedule ko at dapat regular ang pagpasok ko dun. Pag namiss mo yung ibang araw, nakakahinayang kasi siyempre, ako yung magbabayad ng tuition ko. As much as possible, gusto ko mamaximize kung ano man yung in-enroll ko. Weeks lang naman ako mawawala.”
In the past, Glaiza performed a song that had lyrics penned by Angelica Panganiban.
The ABS-CBN actress wrote the lyrics of Glaiza’s song titled “Barcelona” and they cowrote the lyrics of “Waiting Shed.”
“Magkakaroon ng chance in the future. Hindi ko pa sigurado kasi busy pareho. Hindi naman namin ine-expect na matutuloy siya. For sure, magkakaroon ng collaboration.”

As a matter of fact, Solenn revealed she was very hands-on in attending to the nitty-gritty of moving into a new home.
Everything, she said, “from disconnecting everything from my apartment to hiring the contractors to doing site visits every week to going to furniture stores left and right, measuring — ako talaga ang naggawa ng lahat from scratch.
“I didn’t even hire an interior decorator and anything. It was a satisfying feeling,” she said.
“When I’m there parang napi-feel ko na work ko ito. Not only work to buy a house, but work to, like, yung loob, yung decoration, yung feel na it’s really me talaga.”
She continued that she preferred not to have Nico around to help because, “Si Nico lalaki, baka yung decoration niya, pangit. And I’m the artist.
“Siya simple lang, di niya alam ang mga detalye,” she said with a naughty smile.
