Former lovers Ellen Adarna and Presidential son Sebastian “Baste” Duterte are now friends. In fact, Ellen proudly said that she handled the breakup pretty well.
She posted an Instagram video of her and Baste with this caption: “Dapat ganyan walang bitter. Move on ng masaya. Di na uso ang relationship goals! #exGoals na #throwback feelings malipayong 2017 and let go charooouoot.”
Months have since passed, yet the two remain friends. To show her support, Ellen even joins Baste’s reality-adventure show Lakbai together with his friends: social-media star Bogart the Explorer, videographer Andrei Apostol, Atty. Alexis Lumbatan (the “funny guy” at President Duterte’s inauguration), and best friend S’boi Malicay.
Ellen also gets candid in an interview from the episode: “With Baste, I I tell him everything. He tells me everything. Parang we just get and understand each other.”
In the season finale of Lakbai, Baste and his buddies head to Cebu, where Ellen was born and raised. Ellen shows them around her hometown, where they get to be lechoneros for a day and go sky-diving.
She also brings them to her favorite Cebu nightspot and the Temple of Leah, which was built by her grandfather as a tribute to his wife.

WHY DOES Maricar de Mesa keeps mum about the real identity of her baby’s daddy.
The host-actress chooses to give birth in the Philippines.
“I’m comfortable here, e. Nandito ang family ko and my friends. Doon, siya and my few friends. E, it’s my first pregnancy.”
Maricar is based in the US, but chose to be with Pinoy doctors and nurses.
“Mahirap kasi roon, e. I have a friend who gave birth doon, parang two nights lang siya, ‘Okay ka na, lakad ka na.’ Dito, iba ang Pinoy, e. Maalaga ang mga Pinoy, nakita ko yun.
“And my mom can only stay mga two or three weeks kung sa States ako manganganak. So, sabi ko, dito na lang, at saka pumayag din naman ang father. I have support here.”
Maricar refused to give details on the daddy of her child, which was only known for his name Sky.
“Pagdating na lang niya, ipapakilala ko na lang siya sa lahat.”
However, Maricar and her non-showbiz boyfriend were so glad that the netizens gave positive comments on the pregnancy photo they uploaded.
“Paisa-isa lang upload ko. Sabi ko, ayaw kong itago, kasi malalaman din nila dahil uuwi din naman ako sa Philippines. So, sabi ko, ilabas ko nang paisa-isa, at saka nasa trips naman kami nun.”
“Okay lang. Yung father, sabi niya, ‘Wow!’ Sabi ko, ‘O, yung first appearance mo sa Instagram ko, wow, ha.’ Sabi ko, ‘Nag-trend yung photo mo.’ That’s the first time kasi na nilabas ko siya since I got separated, tapos pregnant pa ako. So, sabi ko, ‘Ilalabas pa ba kita?’
Sabi niya, ‘Pagdating ko na lang diyan para makita na nila ako.’”
Maricar confessed that she met her boyfriend in an event here in the Philippines.
However, she opted to remain silent about their relationship.
“I chose to be private pagdating sa new relationship. Like what I’ve said, ang gulo ng separation ko din, e. Ayaw ko nang napapag-usapan, ayaw ko nang nababanggit yun.
“Tapos na. I’ve moved on. We got our annulment earlier this year. Everything is final, talagang bagong life na.”
Maricar was married to basketball player Don Allado in 2006.
And in 2014, the actress filed an annulment citing the cager’s “psychological incapacity”.

KAPAMILYA actress Erich Gonzales turned down the coffee date invitation of businessman Xian Gaza.
Xian, who introduced himself as the CEO of an Asian-based company, had a billboard built in Morayta, Manila to invite Erich to have coffee with him.
After the photos of the billboard appeared on most social media, allegations came out that the young businessman is a scammer.
In a brief statement of Erich, the actress said…
“To be honest, regarding that issue, noong una, just like you guys, na-surprise ako. Natuwa naman ako sa effort. As things unfolded, lumabas yung mga exposé about him… Ako naman kasi, personally, lahat naman ng supporters ko, naa-appreciate ko lahat ng ginagawa nila—malaking bagay o maliit man ‘yan.”
But because of her relatives and friends advice, the actress declined the invitation.
“Parang naging uncomfortable ako. After talking to my family and my closest friends, I decided not to meet him na lang. Simple lang ako, at hindi naman siguro kailangan na maging magarbo para makuha ang atensyon ko.”
Erich admits that she has a persistent suitor.
But she refused to identify the guy, and said that she’s not ready to get into a relationship.
“May mga nagpaparamdam po, pero wala muna. Ten years pa. Let’s just focus muna sa sarili, sa mga bagay na importante, sa pamilya. Right now, madami pong dahilan para maging masaya at maging grateful.”
Erich had a complicated relationship with Brazilian- Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga.
