SUBIC, Zambales – Five suspected drug pushers were arrested by operatives of Subic Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) during simultaneous drug operations in Barangay Calapandayan and Barangay Matain here.
Chief Inspector Joan Sibayan, head of Subic PNP, identifi ed those arrested as Jessie Aguillon y Nican, 52, of Barangay Calapandayan caught selling shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer. Recovered from the suspect were another three transparent plastic sachets of shabu and the marked money.
In Barangay Matain, the suspects arrested were identified as Noel Dumdum y Aragon, 48, and Edgar Asinas y Artagame, 46, both residents of Purok 1, Barangay Matain; Roberto Artagame y Lingana, 58, of Barangay Pundakit, San Antonio, Zambales; and Jeffer Algabar y Gonzales, 37, of Bacon Street, Barangay East Tapinac, Olongapo City.
Recovered from the suspects possession were seven transparent plastic sachets of shabu, 10 peso bills of different denominations, and the P500 marked money.
All suspects were detained at Subic Police Municipal detention cell facing charges for violation of Section 5, 26 and 11 of RA 9165 ( Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Olongapo City.
