P120-K marijuana seized, 2 nabbed in AC buy-bust
ANGELES CITY – Operatives of Police Station 1 under the direct supervision of station commander Maj. Jeffrey M. Jalandoni arrested two suspects and seized P120,000-worth of marijuana during a buy-bust in Barangay San Nicolas here on Sept. 3.
The confiscated drugs, comprising one heat-sealed transparent medium plastic sachet containing suspected marijuana and one suspected marijuana brick, were properly marked and inventoried in the presence of the required witnesses before being submitted to the appropriate forensic laboratory for qualitative and quantitative examination.
The arrested suspects are currently under the custody of Police Station 1 while the appropriate charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing before the Office of the City Prosecutor.
