LIMAY, Bataan- Police on Sunday night arrested a 23-year old man who admitted having raped a 15-year old half-sister in a grassy area here.
Jusly Jose of Townsite in Limay town while under investigation asked forgiveness from his younger sister. He admitted being drunk at the time. “Sana mapatawad mo pa ang kuya mo, nagkamali ako at wala ako sa sarili ko,” he said.
Chief Insp. Edgar Balagso, Limay police chief, said they immediately arrested the suspect after relatives of the victim complained minutes after the sexual molestation at 7:30 in the evening of Sunday.
PO1 Joan Javier, assistant chief of the women’s and children’s protection desk, said the victim is a 15-year old girl who is the half-sister of suspect. The two have the same mother but live in separate houses.
The policewoman said the two unintentionally met at a swimming pool in Limay.
The girl trusting her elder brother asked him to bring her home for fear that her mother will scold her.
The brother even allegedly told the girl to text their mother that they were together.
“Habang naglalakad ang magkapatid bandang alas-7:30 ng gabi sa lugar na walang masyadong bahay, hinatak ni kuya sa dalawang kamay ang kapatid at ibinalibag sa damuhan,” the policewoman said.
Javier said they were waiting for the result of a medico-legal examination and will file a case for rape against suspect.
