HO CHI MINH CITY — Prominent Pampanga business leader Rene Romero joins the Philippine delegation on a weeklong trade mission to Vietnam to promote Clark, New Clark City, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as prime investment destinations.
Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), the trade mission aims to strengthen economic ties between the two ASEAN-member countries. Romero’s participation underscores Pampanga’s effort to showcase its economic strengths, including Clark’s infrastructure and the resilience of its SMEs, on an international stage.
As key target for this mission, Vietnam is highlighted for its economy experiencing strong growth driven by private sector expansion, integration into global supply chains, and major infrastructure projects. The country is also focusing on becoming a regional innovation hub by shifting toward high-tech manufacturing and digital and green industries.
