Nanay Gov elected EVP of League of Provinces of the Philippines

QUEZON CITY – Pampanga Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda has been elected executive vice president of the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) during the first general assembly of all elected governors held at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria here on July 25. 

Along with Pineda, to serve as LPP national officers for 2025-2028 are Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo Jr. of South Cotabato, national president; Gov. Dakila Carlo E. Cua of Quirino, national chairman; Gov. Rodolfo Albano III of Isabela, senior vice president for North Luzon; Gov. LRay Villafuerte Jr. of Camarines Sur, senior vice president for South Luzon; Gov. Athur Defensor Jr. of Iloilo, senior vice president for Visayas; Gov. Nilo Demerey Jr. of Dinagat Island, senior vice president for Mindanao; and Gov. Henry Oaminal of Misamis Occidental, secretary general. 

The national officers were inducted during the same assembly by Interior and Local Government Secretary Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla Jr.
