Forty-eight (48) entrepreneurs recently completed the Kapatid Mentor Me Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) business mentorship training program provided by the Department of Trade and Industry – Region 3 (DTI-3), and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) – Go Negosyo. The graduation ceremony of the program was held last June 26, 2025 via Zoom conference.

Launched on April 3, the online learning sessions continued over a period of three months. The mentees completed 10 online modules, coaching sessions, and successfully presented their business improvement plans before a panel composed of outstanding representatives from the government, banking and financial sector, online market platforms and mentors from the PCE.

The provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales have 7 mentee-graduates each while Aurora has 6.

The KMME program aims to empower MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) through mentorship and e-learning sessions. With it, entrepreneurs are continuously kept abreast of innovative information, skills, and knowledge needed to upgrade, upskill, and upsize their enterprises.

DTI-3 Regional Director Edna D. Dizon congratulated the mentees and encouraged them to use their newly-acquired knowledge and skills not only in their businesses but also to the community that they serve.

“The knowledge you’ve gained—on finance, operations, marketing, and resilience—is too valuable to keep to yourself. Share it. Mentor your team. Encourage other MSMEs to enroll. Speak of your experience. Be a spark for others still searching for direction,” Director Dizon said.

Since its rollout in 2016, DTI Region 3 has produced hundreds of KMME graduates, many of whom have expanded their operations, penetrated wider markets, and created more jobs in their communities. The program continues to play a vital role in strengthening the region’s MSME sector by enhancing entrepreneurial capacities and promoting innovation and resilience.

The first batch of 2025 KMME graduates is a reaffirmation of DTI’s commitment to empowering local entrepreneurs and sustaining inclusive economic growth across the provinces of Central Luzon.
