ANGELES CITY — Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has instructed General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo and City Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna Duaso to ready food stockpile for possible evacuees.
This is after Mayor Lazatin issued an order to the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office to evacuate residents living near creeks.
“Nakahanda po ang ating food assistance sa CSWDO. We have already instructed the CSWDO, and GSO to be ready in any case of assistance at the ground level,” Lazatin said.
Apart from the food assistance, necessary supplies such as hygiene kits, blankets, and mats are also prepared at the CSWDO.
