CLARK FREEPORT — A total of 650 beneficiaries received free health services on April 30 during the “Culiat Cares” medical mission at Clark Polytechnic here.

JCI Angeles Culiat, in partnership with Sacred Heart Medical Center, Jenra Foundation Inc., Punto!, Clark Development Corporation (CDC), the Philippine Air Force, provided services including medical checkups, dental extractions, eye exams, pap smears, and circumcisions.

Dr. Ninia Tan, Medical Director of Sacred Heart Medical Center, emphasized the extensive and inclusive nature of the services provided.

“We have different clinics, including adult, pediatric, eye, dental, and pap smear clinics. We also have a kidney clinic and a series of pep talks. All the manpower, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, as well as the necessary medicines and supplies, are provided for free,” she said.

Dr. Tan further elaborated on the logistics and support provided by Sacred Heart Medical Center.

“We brought a mobile hospital setup with all necessary equipment and supplies. Our team of 60 medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, ensured that all services were delivered efficiently,” she added.

Building on the extensive range of medical services provided, JCI Angeles Culiat President Danielle Morales-Salazar highlighted the initiative’s goal to bridge the gap in healthcare access.

“Culiat Cares aims to provide essential health services to those in need. This initiative is part of our commitment to the values of JCI Philippines, which believes that service to humanity is the best work of life,” she said.

For his part, Project Chairman Leon Dominic Trillanes noted the extensive collaboration involved. “We targeted 650 beneficiaries for various services. CDC gathered the beneficiaries, and the Philippine Air Force assisted with mobilization,” he explained.

The event also provided educational seminars on dengue prevention, chronic kidney disease, and heat illness first aid, conducted by the Philippine Air Force. Volunteers from Systems Plus College Foundation and Angeles University Foundation played a vital role, ensuring efficient service delivery.

Morales-Salazar also mentioned the broader impact of the initiative.

“This medical mission is just one of the many projects under Culiat Cares. We also have ongoing initiatives like ‘Mission for Clear Vision’ and annual blood drives. Our goal is to continuously support and uplift the communities around us,” she said.

JCI Angeles Culiat expressed gratitude to all partners and volunteers for their support in making the event possible.
