ANGELES CITY — Construction of the first residential building under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program in this city is now progressing toward the second floor, as rebar works for the beam are underway.

This, Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. reported after an on-site visit with councilor Atty. Arvil Suller, chief adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, former Angeles City Public Cemetery head Philip Pangilinan-Samson, and developer Dave Sanchez on May 9.

In addition, Lazatin said the developer will begin excavation works for the second building’s foundation next week.

The mayor reaffirmed the city’s full commitment to the 4PH initiative, ensuring that all Angeleños—especially informal settlers and low-income families—will benefit from this historic national housing program.

The project includes the construction of 10 six-story buildings, with each building containing 245 residential units.

In total, 2,450 units will be made available to qualified beneficiaries. The housing complex will also include essential community facilities such as a village market, clubhouse, transport terminal, and dedicated parking areas—200 slots for cars and 680 for motorcycles.

Angeles City is one of the priority LGUs included in the 4PH rollout, which groundbreaking ceremony was held in February 2025. Angeles CIO
