3rd wave of BBM rice assistance reaches 2K beneficiaries in Santa Rita, Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga (PIA) — A total of 2,118 residents of  Santa Rita, Pampanga benefited from the third tranche of rice assistance under the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang Program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Recipients; who come from various sectors such as senior citizens, solo parents, and persons with disabilities; also received assistance during previous distributions thus ensuring the continued provision of support to those in need.

Mayor Reynan Calo led the distribution, underscoring the importance of bringing government assistance directly to residents across the municipality.

He expressed his appreciation to the president, particularly during times when communities are affected by calamities and other challenges.

“During times of calamity, any form of assistance such as this is a great help to our cabalens. That is why we are grateful to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and our national government for programs like these that reach even our municipality. Thank you very much,” Calo said.

The distribution covered beneficiaries from all 10 barangays, allowing the assistance to reach residents across the municipality.

It also reflects the importance of sustained government intervention in helping communities cope with economic difficulties and unforeseen emergencies.

For the beneficiaries, the rice assistance provides additional food support that can help ease household expenses and contribute to their day-to-day needs.

As the government continues to bring assistance closer to communities, the third tranche of the rice distribution in Santa Rita demonstrates the Marcos Jr. administration’s commitment to ensuring that government programs translate into concrete support for Filipino families.

Through sustained cooperation between the national government and local government units, assistance continues to reach communities strengthening their capacity to face challenges and ensuring that help reaches the people who need it most, especially in times of crisis.
