CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — With the continuous rains and flooding in Pampanga, the St. John Mary Vianney vicariate, together with the Cruzada de Penitencia y Caridad Permanent Committee, has updated the schedule and some activities for the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of the Virgen de los Remedios.
The canonically-crowned Virgen de los Remedios and Santo Cristo del Perdón y Caridad will remain at their Repository Chapel today, Aug. 29, until further notice.
Today’s activities will continue at the Repository Chapel. The Holy Rosary will begin at 1 p.m., followed by the Holy Mass at 5 p.m. and the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
Meanwhile, the first day of the Novena Mass tomorrow, Aug. 30, will also be held at the Repository Chapel. The Mass will be presided over by Rev. Fr. Christian Kierr Tallorin, with Rev. Fr. Kenneth Basilio.
With Pampanga’s continued experience with heavy rains and flooding, the safety of the faithful, clergy, volunteers, and devotees remains the priority.
