2 drug dens dismantled, P241-K shabu seized, 11 nabbed

SUBIC, Zambales — Two drug dens were dismantled and 11 suspects were apprehended in two separate anti-drug operations launched by agents of PDEA-Zambales and the Subic police here on Sept. 22 and 23.

Six drug personalities arrested in Barangay Calapacuan on Thursday were identified as the alleged drug den maintainer Alexander Aberia y Vergara of Purok 3, Barangay  Calapacuan; Kimberly Quintino y Dumpit alias of Barangay San Pablo, Castillejos, Zambales; Edgardo Montilla Jr. of Block 4, Gordon Heights, Balic-Balic Sta. Rita, Olongapo City; Mike Berto y Hahari, of Purok 6B, Barangay Calapacuan; Joven Domulot y Rosel of Purok 7, Venus Street, New Cabalan, Olongapo City; and Martine Panganiban y Palma of Barangay Ilwas, Subic.

Police recovered from the suspects 19 grams of shabu amounting to P131,000 and assorted drug paraphernalia.

On Friday, another drug den was dismantled in Barangay Matain and five suspects were arrested, identified as the alleged drug den maintainer Baby Dabon y Inoc of Purok 1, Aplaya, Barangay Matain, Subic; Louie Ferrerae y David of No. 18, San Isidro, Tabacuan, Sta. Rita, Olongapo City; Harold Dela Cruz y Maninang of Purok 1, Naugsol, Subic; Ruel Maninang, Jr. Y Candelaria of Purok 2, Sto. Tomas, Subic; and Hansel Silao y Cunanan of Libertad, San Narciso, Zambales.

Police recovered about 16 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P110,400 and assorted drug paraphernalia.

All suspects will be facing charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
