SANTA ROSA, Nueva Ecija – Eighth municipalities and a city in Nueva Ecija have registered zero active coronavirus disease cases as of Monday, Feb. 28, officials reported on Tuesday.
Citing reports from the Department of Health-Nueva Ecija office the local inter-agency task force said 84 active Covid-19 cases were being observed as of the said date.
The Covid-19-free places are the municipalities of Aliaga, Bongabon, Cabiao, General Tinio, Llanera, Lupao, Pantabangan and Peñaranda, and the Science City of Muñoz.
According to the NEIATF, it was the sixth week that de-escalation of active Covid-19 cases has been recorded.
The same report showed that recoveries from the virus has reached 33,224 in the province.
