IBA, Zambales – After three years in hiding, a man wanted for robbery in Zambales was arrested on Monday in Batangas City.
Zambales police director Col. Fitz Macariola said suspect Carlos Diesmanos Brillantes, 25, of Barangay Taugtog, Botolan town was arrested in Sta. Clara, Batangas City by joint operatives led by Botolan police chief Capt. Jhon Jefferson B. Delos Reyes together with provincial investigation unit, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, 305th Regional Mobile Force Battalion and the Maritime Police-Zambales.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for robbery by Presiding Judge Marifi P. Chua of Regional Trial Court, 3rd Judicial Region, Branch 70, Iba, Zambales issued last July 30, 2019 with bail bond of P24,000.00 for his temporary liberty.
Report said suspect went into hiding for three years after committing the crime.
He is now locked up in jail at the Botolan MPS.
