ANGELES CITY – Citing the need to safeguard the health of the people, the property management of Xevera-Bacolor has announced the improvement of its water services.
Cherry Pascua, property management assistant manager, disclosed that their engineering department had set-up equipment at their water tanks to apply chlorine in Xevera’s water supply.
“We want to be at par with water districts in the community which apply chlorine to their water supply,” said Pascua. “This is to ensure that the water is safe and potable.”
Pascua said households had no cause to worry if the water in their taps “would be initially yellowish as this is due to due to the chlorine.”
After a few days, she added, Xevera “will backwash their water tanks to reduce the yellow color and ensure the cleanliness of the water.”
A village project of Delfin Lee and Globe Asiatique, Xevera in Barangay Calibutbut, Bacolor currently hosts 1,430 households. The housing project has its own church, school, municipal building, wet and dry market, commercial center, swimming pool and sports facilities for basketball, badminton, among others..
The gated community also has security men manning the area 24/7.
