Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda has dispatched on Sunday relief assistance in the form of food packs to families in flood-affected towns of the province. Each pack contains 5 kilos of rice, 4 cans of corned beef, and 4 cans of sardines.

Candaba and San Simon each received 8,000 food packs; Apalit, 5,000; and San Luis, 3,500. Earlier the Capitol sent 14,214 food packs to Macabebe and 11,946 to Masantol.

“Mag-ingat po tayo sa baha, lalo na po sa Covid-19,” the governor reminded his constituents in his Facebook page.

Also on Sunday, Pineda thanked social media posts soliciting help for flood victims in Pampanga for their “malasakit.”

Pineda then requested netizens to train their efforts to those provinces more in need of assistance:  “Marami pong probinsyang nasalanta ng Bagyong Ulysses ang lubos na nangangailangan ng tulong.
