“Hindi ko na lang pinansin ‘yun kasi alam ko namang palabiro siya,” sangga pa ni Valerie. “Masasaktan pa ba ako sa ganung mga biro, e hindi naman totoo dahil panay nga ang workout ko ngayon.”

“Buti na lang naalis ni Dr. Vicki Belo ang stretch marks ko,” sabi niya, referring to Dr. Belo’s Hot Mama campaign which she endorses.
“Right after I gave birth, talagang nag-boxing ako to lose weight. From 135 lbs, bumalik ako sa dati kong weight na 115 lbs. I stopped when I got busy again sa showbiz. Now, I return to boxing in ‘Punch Out’ and I realized na-miss ko talaga ito.”
The video is made with the supervision of boxing analyst Mike Ochosa, who owns the Punch Out gym in Salcedo Village, Makati. “Boss Vic del Rosario saw me as commentator sa fight ni Manny Pacquiao and he asked me to do a boxing video as a fitness program,” sabi pa ni Mike.
“They chose Valerie as the host and she’s perfect as she’s willing to learn and easy to teach. We show the various fundamental stages of boxing here, from footwork, stance, at ‘yung iba’t ibang klase ng suntok like jab, uppercut.
