BALANGA CITY- Secretary Joel Villanueva of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority expressed here Thursday of his desire to seek a Senate post if he can show a performance that he can be proud of.

Villanueva, however, said that meanwhile he will focus on working for the creation of more jobs for the country.

He said that under his administration, TESDA focused on “jobs, the creation of more jobs and in partnership with industries to create jobs.”

He expressed high regards for Gov. Albert Garcia. “Very proud partner ng TESDA ang provincial government of Bataan,” he said.

Villanueva graced the mass graduation in the Technical Vocational Education and Training of 1,800 students from various technical vocational institutions in Bataan.

Villanueva and Garcia handed certificates to graduating students and medals to the winners in the provincial skills and socio-cultural competition.

Villanueva also awarded vouchers amounting to P13.2 million to 11 institutions for Training for Work Scholarship Program and other training programs.
